What is telehealth?

Medical practitioners can connect with patients via video/audio via telehealth. When you are too sick to visit a clinic, or you would like the convenience of receiving a prescription to your local pharmacy, telehealth consultations are a convenient and effective way to see a physician.

What can telehealth provide?

  • Prescriptions 
  • Short and long consults
  • Medical Certificates
  • Referrals to all specialists and mental health providers
  • Radiology and pathology referrals -results are dependent on the lab – we will follow up for you upon request.

Schedule 8 Controlled Drug medications and drugs of addiction can not be prescribed via telehealth.

Is this service confidential?

Medical history and health data are completely confidential. The information will be accessible only to pharmacy staff, patient care team members, and prescribers bound by confidentiality agreements and codes of conduct.

Is the service legal?

Yes, we operate within AHPRA's guidelines for all online consultations. 

I am a temporary visa holder with no medicare card, can I book a telehealth appointment?

Yes, as long as you are in Australia you can book the appointment. We won't ask for a  medicare card.

What is the refund policy?

A charge will be applied if a General Practitioner speaks with you via video or phone. In the event that a technical issue with the website prevents a health professional from conducting a consultation, a refund will be offered.
